This is an advertising project I made for my Writing for the Media class. I used Photoshop to make this project, utilizing the brush tool, photo enhancements, and other design elements to produce a professional ad. Not only did this assignment help me work on my Photoshop skills, I also learned all of the elements of advertising copy. The target audience is kids from ages 5-15 or young, aspiring baseball players who dream of playing baseball professionally. The advertising objective is to persuade the target audience to buy Louisville Slugger bats. The selling points of this project is that the Louisville Slugger brand is used by many professional, successful baseball players, therefore the success of those players reflects that anyone who uses this bat will succeed.
I made this bird illustration for my Electronic & Digital Writing class. This project helped me advance my skills in Adobe Illustrator, utilizing pathfinder, gradients and the curvature tool.
I made this schedule graphic just for fun. It wasn't posted anywhere but I wanted to make it to better my photoshop and graphic-making skills. I made this in Photoshop, using the brush tool to cutout the player, used photo filters with the logos to make them all red, and other design elements to make it clean and cohesive.
I made this logo for Design, Layout and Print Production class. The goal of the assignment was to make a sticker. I made this in Adobe Illustrator. I didn't have a lot of experience in Illustrator before this but this got me very comfortable with the program. I used tools like the pen tool, curvature tool and shapes to design this. The theme of my logo was to represent a baseball team in South Texas, where I am from. I included the palm trees because they are very common there. This is one of my favorite projects I've worked on.
